September, 2008 Sailboats in ReykjavikHi all
Yesterday ,many sailboats where sailing outside Reykjavik harbour. And you can see ,that a little snow is on top of Mt: Esja . Fall has arrived and winter is not far away. I took a little video clip and a few photos . Hope you like them.
September, 2008 Fall has arrived in Iceland Hi all -- Bad weather and everything else has arrived - that is - the Fall season. But we are used to it - and soon - winter will arrive . Then it will be fun - snow - frost and alltogether bad driving conditions. September, 2008 Scottish guys in Iceland Scotland visited Iceland for a football game - And Scittish fans are great visitiors . They can have fun and are great in Kilts. September, 2008 Jeeps crash and overturn in Iceland Yesterday was the last off road racing in Iceland.
It was held near Reykjavik. It is mostly converted jeeps or expeccially built trucks with big engines . And when they need more power - they add nitro to the engine and then they can go over everything- and you can hear when the nitro kicks in . But they are not perfect as you can see on the video - but nobody got injured. |
